A four generations welcome

Was the beggining of 20th century when our great grandparents started serving meals and drinks in a tavern of a narrow street leading to the gardens and orchards beside the river.

During 40’s and 50’s, our grandparents transformed the tavern into a lodge, and later on our parents decided to move forward and completely renew the establishment as Hotel Ca l’Amagat.

Today, although the street is as narrow as it was, the hotel has been surrounded by buildings, is a modern establishment with a fully renowned facilities but keeps the warmth and the familiar treatment from past generations.

Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park

The Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park is one of the largest in Catalonia. It extends across three regions: Berguedà, Alt Urgell, and Cerdanya. The two main mountain ranges of Cadí and Moixeró meet at the Tancalaporta pas.

Bagà

The town of Bagà is located in the Pre-Pyrenees, in the northern part of Alt Berguedà, at the border of the province of Barcelona. It sits at an altitude of 786 meters and is 20km away from Berga and 6km from the southern entrance of the Cadí Tunnel.

We enjoyed staying at this charming inn in the quaint old town of Bagá on our honeymoon. We will never forget the experience. Clean, comfortable, and cozy. The innkeeper was such a kind and delightful gentleman, he made the experience so pleasant. The food as breakfast and dinner was excellent.

La habitación muy acogedora, limpia y las camas muy cómodas, nos hicieron sentir como en casa. El personal muy amable y cercano, mi marido la tarde que llegamos les pidió que nos hiciesen para cenar un bocadillo de lomo con queso y nos lo prepararon encantados. Cabe decir que también nos sorprendió gratamente que la habitación venía con desayuno incluido cosa que al hacer la reserva no nos percatamos y que por supuesto estaba delicioso con bollería recién hecha, tostadas, embutidos, zumo recién exprimido, después si querías café o leche con colacao ellos te lo preparaban al momento... Me gustó bastante que el café no era de máquina y que lo preparaban ellos. Sin duda repetiremos.

Es un establecimiento antiguo y sencillo que los propietarios, una familia, van actualizando, renovando lo necesario pero manteniendo el ambiente original. Camas cómodas, habitación limpia, baño impecable. Comida excelente y un desayuno inigualable que no te lo acabas. Ah, y también están adheridos a "Libres de Gluten" para facilitar las comidas a las personas celíacas.

Es un hotel con la calidez y atención de los de antes. Te atiende el propietario en todo momento para cualquier asunto, siempre con profesionalidad y amabilidad. Hemos estado 3 días con amigos para hacer ciclismo por la zona, siempre bien atendidos para cualquier consulta o necesidad. Habitaciones confortables y menú variado y de calidad. Hotel muy recomendable en medio de un pueblo con tradición como Bagà.

Pedimos una habitación para 3 personas ¡y nos dieron una habitación de dos pisos! Totalmente inesperado. Las habitaciones eran lo suficientemente grandes, las camas eran cómodas y el baño estaba limpio y renovado. No se escuchaban ruidos desagradables. El desayuno era sabroso y había muchas opciones para elegir. Se puede encontrar estacionamiento cerca de las instalaciones del hotel. Además de eso, Bagà es una ciudad bonita e interesante para descubrir.

We stayed here on two separate nights at the start and end of trekking the Cavalls del Vent. This is a very pleasant rural hotel with a Michelin recommended restaurant. The rooms are basic but comfortable; the restaurant food excellent. The owners were very pleasant, enthusiastic and helpful. Baga is a very attractive little town, a great centre for trekking and outdoor sports.
